Privacy policy

Effective date:

Cash Flow Planner is provided by Momentum Apps, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains how information is handled in the app and on cashflowplanner.app.

1. Your financial information

You choose the information you enter, including account names, balances, income, expenses, dates, recurring schedules, notes, tags, debts, and recorded debt payments. The app stores this information on your device and uses Apple’s CloudKit service to synchronize it through your private iCloud database when iCloud is available.

We do not operate a server that receives your financial entries. Your entries are not sent to RevenueCat. The app does not connect to a bank, request bank credentials, or initiate payments. You do not need a separate Cash Flow Planner login.

2. Purchases and Pro access

Apple processes App Store payments. We do not receive your payment card details. RevenueCat helps validate purchases, restore purchases, and manage Pro access. This involves purchase history, transaction and product identifiers, an app-specific user identifier, entitlement status, and technical information such as app and operating system versions. RevenueCat and Apple may also process connection information, such as IP addresses, when providing their services.

This app configures RevenueCat without asking you to create an account. An app-specific identifier is not your name, but purchase-related records can still be personal information. We use these services for purchase functionality, not advertising. Learn more in RevenueCat’s privacy policy and Apple’s privacy policy.

3. Website and support

Our website is hosted by Netlify. When you visit, hosting infrastructure processes information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as your IP address, requested page, browser information, and request time. We do not add advertising pixels, behavioral analytics scripts, or tracking cookies to this site. See Netlify’s privacy policy for its practices.

If you email support, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond and resolve your request. Please do not send bank credentials, payment card numbers, or financial records you do not want to share. Apple may make diagnostic reports available according to your device’s diagnostic-sharing settings.

4. How we use and share information

We use information to provide app functionality, synchronize your data through Apple, administer purchases, answer support requests, maintain reliability, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Service providers may process the information needed for their roles. We may disclose support or purchase-related information if legally required, to protect rights or safety, or in a business transfer subject to appropriate privacy safeguards. We do not provide advertisers with your financial entries.

5. Retention and deletion

You control financial entries in the app. Deleting a cash account removes that account and its related entries, tags, debts, and payment history from the app’s store and synchronizes the deletion to your connected devices. Synchronization depends on connectivity and iCloud availability. Deleting the app alone may not remove data stored in iCloud, on other devices, or in device backups; Apple controls backup retention.

Purchase providers retain transaction records under their own policies and applicable law. Deleting app data does not cancel or refund a purchase. We keep support correspondence only as long as reasonably needed to handle the request, maintain necessary records, or meet legal obligations. Contact us about information held by us or about requesting deletion of purchase-related data; we may need to verify the request.

6. Your choices and rights

You can edit or delete records in the app and manage iCloud and diagnostic-sharing settings through Apple. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or complain to a privacy regulator. Contact us to exercise applicable rights. We do not discriminate against you for making a privacy request.

Where a legal basis is required, we rely on providing the services you request, legitimate interests in operating and protecting them, compliance with law, or consent where applicable. Providers may process information in countries other than your own under their applicable safeguards.

7. Security and children

We rely on device protections and our providers’ security measures. No storage or transmission method is guaranteed to be completely secure. Protect your devices and Apple account and keep your software updated.

The service is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through support or the website. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us.

8. Changes and contact

We may change this policy as the app or our practices change. Material changes will be communicated as required by law. The annual date shown above rolls forward automatically; a change to that displayed year alone does not change our practices or the policy text.
